Environmental Citizen Participation Process (ECPP)

The QPA is determined to attain three major goals to ensure a better quality of life for the current community and future generations:

  • To be recognized by the community for exemplary management of its territory
  • To maintain constant improvement in our environmental performance everywhere in the Port of Québec
  • To develop and maintain a port-city relationship that is respectful of the community

As part of the Environmental Citizen Participation Process (ECPP) put forward by the Québec Port Authority, great significance is given to the involvement of the public, which becomes a cornerstone of the planning and management of major projects on port territory. This initiative ensures informed decision-making, promotes public understanding and offers the community the opportunity to provide ideas in order to improve projects.
